Bridge Work
Kaikor Construction has been building bridges since its inception and has won numerous awards for our quality work. Our largest project to date, the North Kahana Bridge, (pictured here) won the Build Hawaii Award of Excellence in 2012. We have also received the Award of excellence for the Paumalu Stream Bridge Emergency Repair in 2017 and the Construction and Installation of Temporary Bridge Structure at Anini Kauai in 2019.
Pevious Concrete
We are a proud Kama'aina firm that understands the need to "Malama the Aina" and we make every effort to employ the latest environmentally friendly practices. To that end we became the first company in the state of Hawaii to become certified in the installation of pervious concrete. Some of the advantages of Pervious concrete are that it reduces the amount of untreated runoff discharging into storm sewers, eliminates hydrocarbon pollution from asphalt and mitigates that can contaminate watersheds and harm sensitive ecosystems. Kaikor will continue to adapt and use the latest technology and employ eco-sensitive solutions to our construction
needs.
Pre-Cast Concrete
Precast concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a reusable form, which is then cured. Once cured it is transported to the construction site and lifted into place. The benefits to using Precast concrete is that it is exceptionally resistant to impact, corrosion, weathering, abrasion and other ravages of time, reducing maintenance and operating costs.
