Kaikor Construction Company, Inc. is an award winning General Contractor whose experience, depth of skills and sound financial standing make us one of the premier companies in the industry. Since our inception in 1985 we have set the performance standard in Hawaii for Construction Engineering. Bridge Work

Kaikor Construction has been building bridges since its inception and has won numerous awards for our quality work. Our largest project to date, the North Kahana Bridge, (pictured here) won the Build Hawaii Award of Excellence in 2012. We have also received the Award of Excellence for the Paumalu Stream Bridge Emergency Repair in 2017 and the Construction and Installation of Temporary Bridge Structure at Anini Kauai in 2019.

Pervious Concrete

We are a proud Kama'aina firm that understands the need to "Malama the Aina" and we make every effort to employ the latest environmentally friendly practices. To that end we became the first company in the state of Hawaii to become certified in the installation of pervious concrete. Some of the advantages of Pervious concrete are that it reduces the amount of untreated runoff discharging into storm sewers, eliminates hydrocarbon pollution from asphalt and mitigates what can contaminate watersheds and harm sensitive ecosystems. Kaikor will continue to adapt and use the latest technology and employ eco-sensitive solutions to our construction
needs.

Pre-Cast Concrete

Precast concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a reusable form, which is then cured. Once cured it is transported to the construction site and lifted into place. The benefits to using Precast concrete is that it is exceptionally resistant to impact, corrosion, weathering, abrasion and other ravages of time, reducing maintenance and operating costs. Our Projects

Paumalu Bridge Emergency Shoring

The 87-year old Paumalu Stream Bridge was in dire need of repairs after constantly having to survive the monster surf that comes every winter to Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Oahu. However, with plans for permanent repairs still underway, an interim fix was needed to bring the already downgraded 15-ton bridge back up to 25-ton capacity. Using parts of an Acrow Bridge, Kaikor was able to shore up the existing bridge without fully closing the vital thoroughfare & before the next winter swell.

Steve Baginski

President & CEO

Steve Baginski has been in the construction industry since high school and worked for a large construction company as a Concrete Foreman while earning his BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont. As the President and CEO of Kaikor Construction Company, Steve Baginski has helped set the performance standard in Hawaii for structural concrete construction while establishing a position of leadership and serving the ever demanding construction community. He is a Board Member of the General Contractor's Association (GCA) the Chairperson of the GCA City & County committee and a member of the GCA Safety Committee.
